Privacy policy

How we collect, use and protect your personal data.

Who we are

This policy explains how SASE OpsLab Ltd (“SASE OpsLab”, “we”, “us”) collects and uses personal data through this website, sase-opslab.com. We are the controller of that personal data.

SASE OpsLab Ltd is registered in England and Wales under company number 17447128, with its registered office at Becket House, 1 Lambeth Palace Road, London, England, SE1 7EU. You can contact us about this policy or your personal data at info@sase-opslab.com.

The personal data we collect

We only collect personal data that you choose to give us through the contact form, or by emailing us. The form asks for:

  • your email address, first name, last name and company name
  • your country or region, if you choose to give it
  • what you would like from us (a demo, a conversation, partner programme materials or a datasheet) and any message you write
  • the type of business you are and the cybersecurity vendors you work with, if you choose to tell us
  • whether you agree to receive further communications from us

Like almost every website, our hosting provider’s servers automatically record basic technical information when pages are requested, such as your IP address, browser type and the pages visited. These server logs are used only to keep the website secure and working, and are deleted on a rolling basis.

If you accept cookies, we also collect information about your visit, as explained in the cookies section below.

How we use your personal data, and why

  • To respond to your enquiry, such as arranging a demo, sending materials you asked for or discussing our partner programme. Our lawful basis is our legitimate interest in responding to people who contact us, and taking steps at your request before entering into a contract.
  • To send you news and information about SASE OpsLab, only if you tick the box on the form to agree. Our lawful basis is your consent, which you can withdraw at any time.
  • To understand which organisations visit our website and how they use it, only if you accept cookies. Our lawful basis is your consent.
  • To keep the website secure and prevent misuse of the contact form. Our lawful basis is our legitimate interest in protecting our website and our business.

We do not sell your personal data, and we do not use it for automated decision making that has legal or similarly significant effects on you.

Cookies and tracking

Like many websites, we use cookies and similar technologies for analytics and marketing, to understand which organisations visit our website and how they use it. These cookies only run if you click Accept All on our cookie banner, or turn them on under Customise. If you click Reject All, or make no choice, they are not used.

When you accept, our analytics provider sets cookies in your browser and collects information such as your IP address, the organisation that IP address belongs to, the pages you visit, how you arrived at our website, and what you enter into our contact form. We use this to understand interest in our services and to follow up with organisations that may want to hear from us. Our lawful basis is your consent.

You can change your choice at any time using the cookie settings link at the bottom of every page, or by clearing cookies in your browser. Withdrawing consent does not affect processing that happened before you withdrew it.

The background video and all images are served from our own website and do not use cookies.

Who we share your personal data with

We share personal data only where needed to run our business, with:

  • our website hosting provider, Krystal Hosting Ltd, which hosts this website in the United Kingdom and processes form submissions on our behalf
  • our email and business software providers, which store the messages we receive
  • our website analytics provider, if you accept cookies
  • a partner, reseller or technology vendor, only where your enquiry relates to them and you would reasonably expect us to involve them, for example when you ask about a joint solution
  • professional advisers, or authorities where the law requires it

Our service providers act on our instructions and must keep your personal data secure.

International transfers

Some of our service providers, including our website analytics provider in the United States, may process personal data outside the United Kingdom or the European Economic Area. Where they do, we make sure appropriate safeguards are in place, such as an adequacy decision or approved standard contractual clauses.

How long we keep your personal data

We keep enquiry details for up to two years after our last contact with you, unless we enter into a business relationship, in which case we keep them for as long as that relationship lasts and as required by law afterwards. If you agreed to receive communications, we keep your details for that purpose until you unsubscribe.

Keeping your personal data secure

This website uses an encrypted https connection, and the contact form includes protections against automated abuse. Access to enquiries is limited to the people at SASE OpsLab who need it to respond to you.

Your rights

Under UK and EU data protection law you have the right to:

  • ask for a copy of the personal data we hold about you
  • ask us to correct personal data that is inaccurate or incomplete
  • ask us to delete your personal data
  • object to, or ask us to restrict, how we use your personal data
  • ask for your personal data in a portable format
  • withdraw your consent to communications at any time, by using the unsubscribe link in any message or by emailing us

To use any of these rights, email info@sase-opslab.com. We will respond within one month.

Complaints

If you are unhappy with how we have handled your personal data, please contact us first so we can put it right. You also have the right to complain to the Information Commissioner’s Office (ICO) at ico.org.uk, or to the data protection authority in the country where you live.

Other websites

Our website links to other sites, such as LinkedIn and the newswire services that publish our press releases. Those sites have their own privacy policies, and we are not responsible for how they use your data.
